Jehovah's Brow

January 13th, 2019

I felt the velvet touch of the universe tonight,
And left the spider-cities far below,
While the galaxies of towns burned far beneath my feet,
I soared and glimpsed Jehovah's brow,
While lost in the infinity of corridors and streets.

I saw the moon's daughter in the sea of tranquility,
And bathed below her in the pale blue light of permanence.
I saw her father weeping and cried with reckless pity.
I shared my stories with the whole of existence,
And yelled them all to the silent city.

I drew my mind without reserve,
While spinning down the road of contentment,
And sang without need to be heard,
I saw the world that heaven sent,
And awestruck, witnessed glory, without a word.
